6 Ingenious Animations: Your Monday Motivation

--

Animations are hot these days. They’re a way of weaving in an extra layer of ‘wow’ into your design. And they go almost unnoticed, thanks to their subtlety.

Animation can infuse the quirk needed to spice up a layout and add the oomph to the textual and simple processes of the layout. We have scoured through myriads of animation gifs from Dribbble to put together a list of six well-conceptualized animations for you to get motivated.

1) Dennis Hoogstad: Animals

In this animation, Dennis has used few elements to create many elements by changing their angle, scale, and the position. It is a futuristic concept and can be used by designers well versed in the skill of animation. As a product designer, integrating animation can make parts of the layout interesting. The presence of animation might not be noticeable but the absence of it makes the layout dull.

2) Mikael Gustafsson: Small Memory

Ah, can it get any better? Mikael’s motion graphic has made many people change their wallpapers to this design. He has used the Landscape Parallax Effect for this motion. Design wise, the two tones blend with each other and attention to detail given to each part of the image making it look like a part of an ongoing story. It is a sunset worth watching!

3) Jae Son: Tumble Down

This motion graphic animation deserves to be on charts. Along with giving you a little chuckle Jae’s concept animation gives you a thought-provoking message along with it. It is important for you as a designer to understand the whole process for a better output and Jae’s done that.

4) Pedro Piccinini: Braids

Pedro’s concept is the reason why animation is a skill important for every designer to learn. Pedro has used morphing animation principal to depict the role of hair as an identifier in 15th century West Africa. Product designers who have the knowledge of animation can integrate such principles in making their design more powerful and interactive for the user.

5) Marren: Hello Dribble
